Ivana Čik, a representative of the Croatian Rural Development Network, participated in a stakeholder workshop on the proposed fourth amendment to the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy of the Republic of Croatia 2023–2027. The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The workshop presented the proposed fourth amendment to the CAP Strategic Plan and provided an overview of the comments, responses and proposals submitted by stakeholders involved in the consultation process. Particular emphasis was placed on exchanging views between the Ministry and relevant stakeholders before the proposed amendment is finalised.
Participants discussed key areas of CAP implementation, including direct payments and conditionality, rural development, sectoral interventions, risk management and crisis measures. The open discussion enabled further dialogue on implementation challenges and proposals that could contribute to improving the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
The Croatian Rural Development Network will continue to actively monitor processes related to CAP implementation and advocate for solutions that contribute to the sustainable, inclusive and balanced development of rural areas in the Republic of Croatia.
